Building a Sustainable Digital Nomad Lifestyle: Insights from Alicante Nomad Summit
From April 4–5, the Alicante Nomad Summit will bring together remote workers, digital nomads, and location-independent professionals for a two-day deep dive into sustainable work and life. Organized by Nomad Way in collaboration with Alicante Futura, this event will explore three key themes: Working Sustainably, Growing Sustainably, and Living Sustainably.
The summit is more than a remote work gathering—it's an experience designed to redefine how digital nomads approach careers and lifestyles. Participants will learn from thought leaders who are pioneering sustainable remote work and purpose-driven entrepreneurship.
Working Sustainably: Productivity and Remote Work Strategies
Linda Stark will share how agile thinking boosts productivity and builds trust with clients. Iryna Martin will provide tools for managing remote teams effectively, including onboarding and motivation across borders. Dolores Jovanovich will address the balance between corporate roles and location independence, offering real-world strategies for staying productive and growing your career in industries adapting to remote work.
Growing Sustainably: Building Impactful Businesses
For aspiring entrepreneurs, Sarika Seki Hussey will discuss her transition from international organizations to sustainable business creation, touching on imposter syndrome and launching ventures with real-world impact. Doris Deltell Domingo will explore integrating sustainability into any career, while Daniella Zlotogoura will introduce ontological design—how our environments shape innovation and long-term sustainability.
Creating Sustainable Communities
Jean-Baptiste Michel, founder of Nomad Way, will lead a session on how to build resilient and engaged communities in the ever-evolving world of digital nomadism, sharing practical strategies from years of experience.
Living Sustainably: Well-being for Nomads
Well-being is central to a sustainable nomadic lifestyle. Ultrarunner and coach Jeremy Inabnit will share how to stay physically active on the road. Bianca Tate will offer resilience tools based on her experience living in over 45 countries. Joey Collazo will guide attendees through mindfulness, breathwork, and self-acceptance practices to support emotional balance.
Interactive Panels and Workshops
Panels and workshops will offer interactive learning experiences. The "Beyond the Office" panel with Karoline Steiner, Iryna Martin, and Dolores Jovanovich will highlight remote career paths across industries. Meanwhile, "Love & Family in a Nomadic Life" with Cari Oleskewicz and Dinara Domingo Milan will explore relationships and raising families while living nomadically.
Attendees can also join deep-dive workshops, such as Eric Ten Have’s session on his field of expertise, Marina Francisco’s workshop on using automation and digital tools for productivity, and Daniella Zlotogoura’s applied session on crafting workspaces that foster both efficiency and well-being.
Networking and Community
The summit will offer plenty of opportunities to connect—whether it’s at local spots like Mish Mish, La Mas Coketa, Bubbles, Casablanca, Les Monges Palace Boutique, and Café Bardin, or during guided hikes and yoga sessions. The event wraps up with a closing party to celebrate new friendships, collaborations, and insights.
Why This Summit Matters
As remote work continues to evolve, the Alicante Nomad Summit provides the tools, knowledge, and network to make the digital nomad lifestyle sustainable and aligned with personal values. Whether you're just starting out or looking to level up, this summit offers powerful insights from those who’ve already paved the way.
